    The Role and The Mission

    • Utilize analytical tools to optimize Pay Per Click Campaigns
    • Analyze and optimize paid search performance and communicate results to direct to consumer clients
    • Execute Amazon specific marketing strategies to help increase conversion; Performed through Paid Search and Promotional Emails
    • Perform ad hoc analysis on a wide variety of subject matter such as PPC Analytics, Inventory Management, Sales and Profitability
    • Educate and train SaaS users to utilize our software to align with their specific business goals
    • Influence your team to support our company's growth and scale

Job Description

As a web engineer on our team, you will be expected to learn new technologies quickly and thrive in a fast paced environment while working in a team environment and individually. You will contribute to both mature and new products and will have the ability to make significant impacts and improvements to our software.

As a lead on our team, you'll have an important and primary role in building new features and projects. So it is important that you care about the product and user experience and take responsibility for thinking about the customer. You'll need to work collaboratively with team members from different disciplines, including product managers.

When leading a feature, you'll work the with product manager and other stakeholders to fully understand the user value, participating in the initial feature discussions and contributing ideas to resolve issues that face our clients, coming up with ways we can continuously help our clients win. After a feature has gone through discussions, it'll be your responsibility to then create an architecture plan with assistance from the engineering team. Once a new feature begins development, you lead a small group of engineers to build it. You'll be responsible for breaking up the work for the team, to ensure the code quality is high, to performance a majority of the code reviews for the feature.

It is important to have a solid understanding of modern web technologies, even if you are not yet an experienced full-stack engineer, as it'll be your responsibility as a lead to architect out the components of your projects. You'll have the ability to get assistance from the rest of the product team, and it is encouraged that you use their knowledge of our platform and technology as you architect projects.

  • Leading. You have experience as a team or feature lead, mentoring developers, and have experience performing code reviews.
  • Problem solving. At Teikametrics, we help retailers win. We solve challenging business problems that our clients face by making incredible software. You need to be willing to brainstorm openly, provide and receive feedback and criticism, and keep our clients in mind when building new features.

Job Description

As the first DevOps engineer hired at Teikametrics, you'll be responsible for taking ownership of our production, staging, testing environments, managing change management and automation tools, helping us build better processes for release management and load balancing, configuring monitoring and alerting tools to improve our uptime and reliability. This is a great opportunity for an experienced DevOps engineer to grow and gain valuable experience leading technical decisions in a production environment.

As this will be the only DevOps role at Teikametrics at this time, you'll be involved with all of our projects to help them setup the servers and release processes. You'll be included in discussions about setting up new microservices or changes to existing ones, to help ensure we are constantly moving toward a more sustainable, scalable service architecture and that we constantly improve and protect the security of our customer's data.

You will be responsible for researching prospective customers and helping to close sales. Includes following up on marketing generated responses, new market penetration, calling on decision makers, trade show attendance, and more.

Marketing and Content Development Intern

Job Description

Want to hone your content marketing skills and portfolio? Are you passionate about e-commerce and the future of retail? Teikametrics is a Boston based e-commerce software company that specializes in dynamic software for Amazon third party sellers. We are seeking a Marketing and Content Development Intern for the fall semester, possibly to continue on through spring, with possibility of joining the company full-time.

Desired Skills and Experience

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with our content developers to manage our blog
  • Take existing lengthy content such as e-books and whitepapers and repurpose them into shorter blog posts
  • Develop new content ideas and manage a blog schedule
  • Work with Business Development team to qualify inbound leads and maintain organization in Salesforce

Requirements:

    • Currently pursuing a degree in Journalism, English, or other Communications related field.
    • Dynamic, flexible, hard-working, and highly organized
    • Attach 2 writing samples. Can be blog posts, newspaper articles, or magazine articles. Just no academic papers, please.

Not required, but please mention if you have:

  • Experience with Salesforce or other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool
  • Previous experience with marketing

This is a paid internship with flexible hours, 20-30 hours/week out of our Seaport office. There is possibility for this to turn into a full time position.
